PayPoint drives awareness of PayPoint I BankLocal service across UK regions

Welwyn Garden City, 29th June 2026: PayPoint is on a mission to drive awareness of its PayPoint I BankLocal initiative across key UK regions, starting with Nottingham and Liverpool over the coming weeks.

The campaign is first being rolled out first in Liverpool this week, followed by Nottingham in July, where PayPoint is focusing on helping local communities improve access to essential cash services.

PayPoint officially launched its UK-wide PayPoint I BankLocal service in August 2025, debuting the initiative in partnership with Lloyds Banking Group - including Lloyds Bank, Halifax, and Bank of Scotland. To date, it has facilitated over £49 million in customer deposits, with over 40 percent of transactions taking place outside of traditional working hours (before 9am and after 5pm).

The success of the service has enabled thousands of customers to deposit up to £300 a day in cash into their accounts by simply scanning a secure barcode in their mobile banking app, available at over 30,000 retail locations across the UK.

The PayPoint I BankLocal network was further expanded to include Nationwide customers in April this year.

We know how important it is for our customers to access practical ways to manage their everyday finances. This campaign is launching in key regions to help increase awareness of the support and tools available through our PayPoint I BankLocal initiative, enabling even more people to access essential services with ease.
