PayPoint furthers inclusivity and accessibility with three new translated guides

  • PayPoint has launched three additional translated guides in Hindi, Tamil and Gujarati, following retailer demand to include more languages

  • The languages have been selected due to being the next most widely spoken languages amongst retailers across the PayPoint network

  • The guides have been launched to help retailers best utilise the variety of retail, parcel and community services available through their PayPoint devices

Welwyn Garden City, 30 April 2025: PayPoint has launched an additional three translated training guides in Hindi, Tamil, and Gujarati to boost accessibility for retailers, following demand for a broader range of languages.

Due to the positive feedback received from retailers after the initial launch, PayPoint has taken proactive steps to improve accessibility and usability for its diverse user base by providing three additional translated guide documents. Initially, PayPoint launched guides in Sinhalese, Urdu, and Indian Punjabi, recognising the linguistic diversity amongst its retailers.

The success of this initial launch, with 650 guide downloads, has led PayPoint to expand its range of translated guides to include additional languages such as Hindi, Tamil and Gujrati. This expansion ensures that an even broader spectrum of retailers can access the guides and better utilise their PayPoint devices.

The translated guides are now available to download online for the PayPoint Mini and Connect here. Retailers will also be sent emails with the resources on launch.

Retailer feedback is really important to us and we are always looking for ways to simplify daily operations. The success of our initial translated guide launch highlighted the importance of accommodating more languages, especially those that are prevalent among our retailers. This second launch is testament to our commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that all our retailers can best utilise their PayPoint devices.
